Beautiful.
I'm from JAMAICA living in Chicago love the man
2:37--2:43.....JEEZ!!!!
It doesn't get any better than this!
The last two comments taught me about stage etiquette and respect for the musicians especially a musical duo.
Is this rip from the 81 vinyl?
tell the drummer to slow down..
女性シンガーの歌い方によって、スタンゲッツのソロは変わるよ。
Terrible arrangement and awful pianist, messing up the changes to a very simple song. Even if there was a key change.
This album shous that Nat is a mush better musician that his brother Cannonball Nat's trumpet sole is outstanding
Do you know the band playing with Stan Getz ?
ua-cam.com/video/FTQsAOKKGSU/v-deo.html my version
She should have sang less and let Stan play more - not a great match.
Falar o que?..Basta ouvir!!!
Oh, Heaven!
The Sound is always awesome! Steaming Stanley!
Brilliant.
1:30
Yo tengo el vinilo original.
no me convence
Nice solo. John Coltrane and Gary Bartz take is also great!
That fiend, how dare he cut it short
No swing! That’s why Stan came out snapping his fingers in 2&4 lol 😂 that big band doesn’t swing man !!!!
The MAN!! Best ever melodic, lyrical improvisor. And the TONE. omg
Wow! Never heard this track before - Getz with one of my favorite rhythm sections! Thank you, Denis!
I own this record! One of my most treasured, its the Italian pressing. Its in storage and I haven't listened in a while. Glad you have it posted. Thank you!
Just a Master Jazz Statesman at his craft / & approach to the unique style of the diatonic scale!
The Sound & OP kicken it!
Cara, que lindo!
Stan was extraordinary! That Sound!
I don’t like this rendition of this song, there are so many better versions of him performing this song.
hello i am looking for the music score of this song
Stan, You stood alone amongst giants! There'll never be another You.
This is stellar!! / especially with the phrasing excellence of Tenor man Stan the man Getz, & a stomp'en rhythm section, their will never be another Getz; also note the compositional arranging Genius of the late Billy Byers.
THIS MAN WAS WHAT I CALL A 'SUPER TALENT' UNMATCHED SOUND AND ENDLESS IDEA'S
WHAT IDIOTS WOULD GIVE THUMBS DOWN TO THIS? STICK YOUR THUMBS WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE!
☺️🎶💗🌾🤗💙💞🌱
One of my favorite songs to play. Dexter Gordon does it incredibly also on a great ballads album that is up now.
SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ME . WHAT A BEAST .. WOW
No one could play Getz !!! But Getz could play anyone. Anyone !!!..... absolutely #1 ..................( #2 Gordon )
saxaphone, more like HOMOphone xDDDDDDDDDD protheroes gay
WTF kind of dumbass phobic shit is this and besides that, what has it got to do with one of the greatest sax players of all jazz history. Imbecile. To troll elsewhere.
Getz was one of those few players whose solos were lyrical, always interesting, and generally made my ears and soul feel good.
I love hearing Getz any time (I play regularly with Jeff Rupert, who is a Getz devotee). This cut is personal because John Campbell introduced me to jazz and had me take up the string bass in high school in Normal IL, and I bought my bass from George Mraz.
I must add -- I'm talking about Stan's playing.
Best rendition of Out Of Nowhere I've ever heard -- been listening since I'm 11 to jazz. I'm now 85 years old.
You're still too young to know it all, kid.
I realize it is kinda randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to watch new movies online ?
@Austin Otto Definitely, have been using FlixZone for months myself :D
@Austin Otto thanks, I signed up and it seems to work :D Appreciate it !!
@Sawyer Reign You are welcome xD
One of a kind that will never be matched. His sound and musicianship was at the highest level. Was and still is my favorite saxophonist.
Melissa in sublime form with Stan Getz, never again this type of greatness and remember being mesmerized by this great special...Stan Getz sadly was gone shortly after
I like Coltrane's driving rhythm better -- this is too bouncy (by comparison) IMHO
